Fraud - orig. 07/23/05

Would the biologists, authors and filmakers perpetrate a fraud? If so what would their motive be. Money? I could see that. The biologists could be falsifying results in order to receive more research monies. It seems like it would be fairly easy to verify missing populations of frogs however. Of course, I don’t even know which friggin’ frogs they were talking about so anyone could get on TV and hold up a frog and say we found one so they’re not really gone. I wouldn’t know the difference. I guess one would have to research the bibliographies and references to determine the veracity of an author or filmaker. It seems like most projects start with research.
